To The Management and Board of IPS/MIJS

As parents and main stakeholders of IPS/MIJS pupils, we have held several meetings with the school management to adress concerns regarding reduction of tuition fees during the Covid 19 pandemic but in vain. A formal communique from the school outlining the plans for 2020/21 has indicated that management is adamant that fees be paid in full. As parents, we believe this is unfair and have therefore reached an agreement that we will not be complying with the management's decision to pay the full amount on both tuition and stationery fees, for the many reasons that have already been communicated to the school. This petition serves to plead with management to reconsider their decision taken to not reduce fees. Failure by management to not reduce fees will leave us no choice but to boycott the planned zooms lessons until our plea of a 40% reduction in fees and zero cost on stationery and book is heard.

I have been reading through all the stories you are sharing and they truly highlight how heavy this burden has become for our families. It is your collective strength that keeps this momentum going while we work behind the scenes to get a real response from the management.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people have joined this cause. It is clear now that we are not alone in this struggle and I am just humbled to be a part of what you all have built.

Please reduce the fees. For some of us eventhough we still have jobs our main source of funding for our children's fees was from personal businesses which are affected by COVID-19. Paying fees in full would be a problm as a result. Kindly hear our cry. And stationery fee must not be paid! It dsnt make sense why.

My main concern is on stationery fees. Fee reduction should be made reasonably on the basis that the school will be saving on operating costs (water, electricity, etc). At the same time we don't want a huge fee reduction that will compromise the quality of education. As for zoom lessons, I applaud the school on that move.

I wish to comment on school re opening date, I am of the opinion that there was too much work given to the kids during zoom lessons, they serve a break, and that of stationery on photo copied information is unfair, please re consider this issue of stationery fee, we as parents are doing most of the work at home, that says school fees can also be reduced so we can afford data for online lessons. thank you

Makes so much sense to adjust fees downwards. The cost structure in. Certainly not the same as pre-covid & parents have incurred additional data costs to facilitate the zoom lessons. At the very least, fees should be diacounted be there additional costs.

The management of the school has misdirected them in determining fees ,less considerate in the case of parents who has suffered dearly and financial due to COVID ,fees for stationery does not reflect true picture of what students get.We propose abolishment of stationery charges ,school fees be reduced to 50% or less considering that we have been duped last year
