Seeing this level of support reminds me why we started this fight even when the odds felt stacked against us. It is exhausting work to keep pushing but seeing so many of you agree on Victor's value makes the struggle worth it.

Victor's transformed the fitness center, in part by building a much stronger sense of community that keeps people motivated to show up. That's not something you'll easily replace. Keep him if you can.
Because of Victor Ames fitness center is at it's best, I've been at Ames for 21 years and have never met an instructor so dedicated to the folks who use the gym always helpful and changing things for the better. All for the sake to help us get and be healthy. He deserves to become a civil servant, it would be a shame to loose such a caring and dedicated person like Victor.
I am a fitness center user since 1992. I remember the days when we had to wait outside for the door to open. Ever since Victor started here, I did not see a single late day. His morning class are the best. I completely agree Victor changed the fitness center atmosphere. Please do not let him go.
Victor's enthusiasm and positive attitude has made the fitness center a real plus at Ames. His HIIT class has made a real difference in my life and I'm sure he has made a difference in many other peoples lives at Ames as well. It would be a real loss and a shame to see him go.
Victor's friendly and enthusiastic interactions with patrons of the fitness center have been one of the key highlights for Ames' fitness-minded community in recent years- having a dedicated athletic director like Victor positively changes our culture. His high energy Tabatta/HIIT classes have undoubtedly helped to make me a more competitive recreational athlete.
I've been going to Victor's classes for over a year now since I started at AMES. I have been an athlete my entire life. From soccer, to Karate, Wrestling and Track and Field. The knowledge that Victor provides is Elite. In my humble opinion, it would be a shame to see Victor leave. As a health advocate myself, I recommend that it would be in Ames, best interest to do whatever in its power to retain Victor and offer him a management position where he could continue to transform our lives with health.
When I first came to the Fitness Center, I met Victor. He has really made positive impact on the gym - both in the classes offered and the maintenance of the facility. I go regularly to the fitness center. I will really miss Victor - he is always pleasant and has made the fitness center a great place to work out!

I'm not sure if making the fitness center manager position permanent would keep Victor from leaving but at least it will help to attract and retain future manager(s).
