Please sign this petition to let IDOT and politicians know that change needs to happen on Hwy 20 stretch, Dubuque. This includes Swiss Valley Road, Truck Stop, North Cascade Road and Namasco turn off and other surrounding businesses. We are also pushing for longer exits to Swiss Valley Road, North Cascade Road, Cottingham Road, Thunder Hill Road and Cox Springs Roads.
Our hope with this petition is to push for off-ramps and frontage roads to allow drivers to enter and exit without compromising their safety. Along with safer travels for all on this heavily traveled road.

My dad was killed here last year and more and more people are losing their lives and family. The injuries (some life long) happen to people and their families. Something must be done. You never know if you will be the next victim of this area.
I had a car totaled after someone pulled on to Hwy 20 at Swiss Valley Rd attempting to turn west. Luckily no injuries because I was alert enough to slam on the brakes and caught the rear quarter panel. Please fix this very dangerous stretch of Highway 20!
For the past ten years that I have been commuting to/from Peosta and Dubuque, I have been in at least one near-crash by the truck stop per year. That area is frankly the only area I use my horn. A frontage road with an exit/entrance ramp needs to be created for this area.
I drive that intersection every day and turn off at North Cascade Road. Everyday when turning off I am looking in my rear view mirror praying the car behind me notices I am turning. There have been many close calls in that stretch and too many families with losses. Something needs to be done!
I have driven back and forth from Dubuque to work in Farley for the last 13 years. Every intersection on this road is dangerous but especially the truck stop "kill zone." I can think of no higher priority road project than Namasco/Truck stop area of highway 20.
Be honest about where the gas tax goes and fix Highway 20 near Dubuque
Awhile back I was a victum of a incident on highway 20 . . a car pulled out from Swiss Valley Road and struck me. Luckly I wasn't seriously injured but my car was totaled. Something needs to be done!

Bud Geyer Thunder Hills westbound turn ramp especially needs to be lenghtened. Hundreds of people live in the three subdivions there and it is very dangerous in winter when it is often not plowed. Cox Springs already has an adequate lane.
