Awhile back I was a victum of a incident on highway 20 . . a car pulled out from Swiss Valley Road and struck me. Luckly I wasn't seriously injured but my car was totaled. Something needs to be done!

Our Epworth church family lost a wonderful, gentle, Grandfather at that truck stop years ago. He was not the first nor last over the years.

Let's pull together and do everything we can to make this happen for Angie's brother and everyone else that has been affected by this very unsafe traffic area in past years.

It is a scary section of highway to travel. I pray each time I enter the area.

A very dangerous stretch of highway because of the semis and business entryways on to the highway as well as the curve.

Thunder Hills westbound turn ramp especially needs to be lenghtened. Hundreds of people live in the three subdivions there and it is very dangerous in winter when it is often not plowed. Cox Springs already has an adequate lane.

Like so many, I have ideas on how to address the highway 20 (4) lane. It appears there are just too many waivers and variations with no steadfast goal.

Was disappointed right away when ramps were created for Peosta, Epworth, Farley, Dyersville but then at grade intersections were also allowed. The idea was to have a limited access hi speed connection from Dubuque to the rest of the state but we failed to provide safety by NOT limiting access. Probably longer off and on ramps and frontage roads would be an after fix.

At grade intersections with U.S.20 combined with excessive speed are an extreme hazard. The speed limit needs to be reduced to 55 mph and frontage and/or off ramps created to alleviate this this hazardous condition.
