Hill Farm Road Traffic and Safety Evaluation
Petition to the Town of Fairfield Traffic Authority Regarding Hill Farm Road Safety
We, the undersigned residents and property owners of Hill Farm Road and surrounding streets, respectfully request that the Town of Fairfield Traffic Authority:
- Conduct a comprehensive traffic volume and speed study on Hill Farm Road.
- Review reported crash data and safety patterns from the past five years.
- Evaluate and implement appropriate traffic calming measures to reduce speeding and enhance pedestrian safety.
We believe Hill Farm Road’s current traffic volume and vehicle speeds present ongoing safety concerns for children, pedestrians, cyclists, and residents. We request timely evaluation and action to improve roadway safety.

Along with the evaluation of Hill Farm Road we request the study to include the corner of Hill Farm and Bronson Roads as there are multiple known accidents that have occurred there, and MANY people cut the corner when traveling south on Bronson and turning onto Hill Farm. Thank you
People drive way too fast on Hill Farm Road.
I am afraid to cross the street to get the mail!

Speed control is imperative. Sidewalks would be the icing on the cake. But lets not wait until someone is maimed or killed!
