DEAR CITY COUNCIL OF WAUKEE, IA
We, the citizens of the City of Waukee, petition the city to maintain the current zoning of the Hermann Property as A-1 and until proposed changes to the zoning included R-1 or R-2.
There is sufficient commercial property .8 mile to the north and .6 mile to the east to provide adequate services for the nearby neighborhoods.
I demand that the City Council Vote “NO" on this re-zoning recommendation by the Development Services Director.

Seeing the count climb past this point reminds me that the community sees the same threat to our neighborhood that I do. It is exhausting work to keep pushing against these development plans but your belief in our cause keeps me moving forward.

this area needs to stay family oriented and not privatized. Keep the areas Round the schools for school and family, not businesses.
We do need a sidewalk and traffic light there, but NO businesses that close to the schools! PLEASE!!!!
stop making streets near schools busier!

Too much traffic already as it is. Let the neighborhood stay quiet like it was when we moved in here.
