I was just out walking the dog earlier and thinking about how these old houses really define the character of our streets which is something these developers just seem to completely ignore. It has been quiet on the official front but I know people are talking in their front yards and that is the energy we need to maintain while I keep pestering the planning office for a straight answer.

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the way this has taken off because I really thought I was just shouting into the void about these beautiful old houses. It feels like people finally see what I see when I look at our streets and honestly I just want to keep this momentum rolling before the developers decide they can just steamroll right over our history.

Enough with the rezoning already. Mindens historic charm is the only thing keeping it from looking like every other town.
THIS IS OUR HOME NOT A PLACE FOR CORPORATE GREED!!!! LEAVE IT ALONE.
Keep Minden historic. We dont need another strip mall ruining the neighborhood vibe.
My family has lived in this district for years. Dont let them destroy what makes our town great just to make a quick buck.
Keep the businesses on the outskirts and leave the historic homes alone. Common sense.

Our community is so special because of these houses. Once you tear that down to put up some ugly office building you can never get that history back.
