Thank you for your attention to the gravity of the decision you are about to make. We, the enumerated, implore you to consider the following before completing sentencing.
I have been made aware that Daniel Kiros has plead guilty to the charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana (PWID) and PWID within 1000 yards of a public school and that he has a previous record including another PWID and some traffic violations.
Daniel poses no threat to society and it would be devastating to his family’s best interest for him to be detained for any amount of time. A single day of his being unable to maintain the ability to function as his household’s primary provider of income, or his mother’s sole source of medical care, would be heavily disruptive. An extended period of time would preclude his loved ones’ ability to feed and shelter themselves.
We also beg an acknowledgement of the potentially horrifying result of the role geography plays in this scenario. Had he been 19 miles away from his residence/place of arrest, no charges would have been filed, no crime would have been committed, and you wouldn’t be reading this ardent plea to keep a good man/son/citizen free.
We, the many who benefit by Daniel’s freedom and/or can attest to the benefit he represents to his community as a whole, appreciate your sympathy and understanding of the impact your decision will make.

Daniel is a easy going guy with a good heart. Who has taken care and provided for his family as long as I've know him, about five 5 years now. In that time his mothers health has failed (extreme memory loss) leaving Daniel in charge of managing bills and the other property they rent out, most important his mothers health. Daniel has made mistakes and I am sure he is and will be weighing his actions more in future. The decision you make your honor will effect him deeply. The offense in question is nonviolent in nature and I do not believe Daniel to be a threat or danger to anyone or will he repeat these actions any more. I can only hope that you have mercy in your court and keep his sentence minimal so that he can return to his family as soon as possible. Sincerely Shane Jones
Daniel Is an extraordinary person. He possesses qualities that great people share. Kindness, generosity, ambition, and a won't quit work ethic. I have known Daniel about 4 years. The entire time I have known Daniel he has been going to school full-time, working full-time, all while taking care of the health of his Mother. Something to emulate. Please allow him to continue the support that he gives to his family.
To who it may concern, I understand the gravity of the circumstances and aware of the charges against Daniel Kiros. Daniel is a caring , fun loving, brilliant Individual. I have witnessed Daniel work countless hours working as a server day after day. Then go to tend to his mother who has Alzheimer's Disease I am sure anyone could agree that it can be stressful and overwhelming, coming from both parents with drug abuse and my father who served 7 years in prison I can understand how it can break up a family. Daniel is not a danger to society I could leave him with my 1 year old nephew and not think twice. Daniel cares about the everyone around him. I don't condone with some of the choirs he may or may not made, but Daniel deserves to be with his family and friends and together help him find better alternative choices. I look up to Daniel and admire his hard work and dedication please I hope the person reading this understand how Daniel would put is family and first before himself please reconsider lowering the sentence thank you and God Bless. Daniel is a friendly person who likes to take care of his friends and family. He has a big heart. I met him at work and have know him for a while. Hard working individual.
Daniel is a good guy. He is pleading guilty and understands his wrongdoings. He is a smart and very deep person. He can easily turn his life around with the proper help and attitude from those around him, including society.
Great kid with a huge heart. He made a bad decision and he should be punished, but in no way should he have his future taking away from him. Putting him in prison will not help him become a better citizen, nor will it help his community. Again, Daniel is a kind hearted individual who means only to help others, if he is put in prison it will only destroy him and make him the man we are trying to prevent. Please show compassion for a young man that has made a bad decision and rehabilitate him. He has great potential to become a positive feature in our community.
Daniel is a kind, hard-working individual with the best of intentions at heart. He is definitely not a danger to the community.

Kind, caring, compassionate soul. A grace injustice to inprison someone for something that is being made legal all over the country as each day passes. It's time that justice looks at the person as a whole to be fair.
