The district finally agreed to discontinue the iReady program. I am honestly drained after this fight, but seeing this removed from our classrooms makes the long nights worth it. We need to stay watchful to ensure they do not try to bring back similar systems under a new name.

I-Ready causes stress for students and does not teach anything to students, is a big waste of time and has no benefits. It can cause hours of time to get past the tutorial of 1 lesson. Not to mention, usually teachers assign at least 5 lessons of I-Ready a week. But above all else, the iReady Universal Screener is a dangerous assessment because it is a dehumanizing assessment. ... iReady, and assessments of this nature, overwhelming identify poor students and students of color as most in need of intervention.

Seeing this momentum grow has been exhausting but necessary because you all clearly feel the weight of these screens like I do. We are still fighting an uphill battle against a system that ignores how much this software hurts our children. I am drained by the resistance we face but I have no intention of walking away.

i-Ready is so bad. I had this random array and column multiplication question whatever it was. I answered 10x7. It said i was wrong and the answer was 7x10. Not to mention diagnostics actually think you know quantum physics in 3rd grade. thats just wild

Get this useless, stressful, anxiety-giving, wannabe, privacy-concerning, boring, excuse-making, sorry, software out of schools. It has never taught me anything. It has only impacted me in a negative way by giving me fear to try solving angular problems again.

I only have to do the math lessons and I see ppl in my class at level E and higher and it makes me feel bad. It also causes stress when my teacher assigns a certain amount of minutes and lessons each week so I definitely think we should ban I-ready

I'm an 8th grader and i had to do this for 8 years straight and this is nothing but more work on top of the work that the other teachers give you have to do more because of I-ready and in some schools it a part of your grade like its so annoying!

in my middle school we are forced to do iready during our advisory Which is usually our time to catch up on assignments but since I ready started I've been falling behind. Also in my sisters elementary school they have been cutting back on recess for iready

I-Ready causes way to much stress and takes me almost all night just to finish 2 lessons, it is super slow and it glitches randomly making me start over, this is a horrible teaching app and should be banned from schools all over the world.
