I-Ready causes stress for students and does not teach anything to students, is a big waste of time and has no benefits. It can cause hours of time to get past the tutorial of 1 lesson. Not to mention, usually teachers assign at least 5 lessons of I-Ready a week. But above all else, the iReady Universal Screener is a dangerous assessment because it is a dehumanizing assessment. ... iReady, and assessments of this nature, overwhelming identify poor students and students of color as most in need of intervention.

No math IREADY takes a whole class so 2 pioneer times so when we do activity time I need to be on task and it is so hard BECAUSE my teachers just YAP YAP YAP and don't give us any timee to do Anythingg
iReady is the main reason that my grades go down because teachers take like 10 points off my grade and don't even know how long they take and how ANNOYING it is when we have other missing work.
I am in 4th grade and it is heck also the lessens are for 8th graders also it takes our entire win time and our teachers think it is so so good and make us do like 50 lessens a week and 10 lessens during summer but we can't do that because our passwords get deleted until the next school year

most teachers, in result of students not doing iready, set their iready to 4/week. but the students who don't do there iready get the same score ( 0/100 ) no matter how many iready lessons they have to do. causing hard-working students to have to work harder to get the grade they deserve
