The Big Bunny Motel, is a local is part of local history of Lakewood since 1952. Tourist today still stop just to take pics of the original iconic sign. It's a landmark of the west Colfax strip. Especially to our older community, who despite the weather brothers blasphemy, To them it's still the Bugs Bunny Motel. What will take this historic motels spot ? Another walmart in a three 5 mile radius ? More apartment buildings , not for more out of staters to move into to run up the prices of everything even more for the natives. Please , take the time to sign my pitition to save this local landmark. With the current owners and management , this motel is really one of the nicer places on the west Colfax strip . And they are actually really kind , caring people to alot of the local community.
