I was reading through all the comments left here and honestly it is just overwhelming to see how many people rely on this for their actual health and wellbeing. The silence from the municipal office is getting louder by the day but I am going to keep knocking on their doors until someone gives us a straight answer about why they want to cut off access to tested products.

I used to burn right past chemainus on my way up island, but now I have a reason to stop and spend money in town! Usually get a coffee or a snack as well for the road. Keep your economy growing with new businesses, don't shut the doors.
I urge you to look at statistics in Colorado and other places where medical cannabis has been legalized. Crime rates actually go down, jobs are created, money is put into the community. And that's just from am economic stand point. The real situation here is the medicine, it's effective, and it's safe, our communities deserve safe access to it.
This is garbage. The staff at leaf are amazing people. They work hard and offer lab tested products. I started shopping at this store a year ago while dealing with pcs "post concussion syndrome". I was able to get off all pain pills by eating medical products. I hadn't felt like myself in a very long time and I truly believe this store, the staff and there products saved my life. I went from sitting in a dark room, not socializing and being very depressed to living my life again. It's 2017 and things need to change. Instead of wasting my tax dollars maybe the rcmp should focus on getting Fentonall off the streets. That's the true killer. I hope the staff are able to come back from this. Thanks for everything leaf!!!!!
Leaf Compassion is an important part of the community. They work hard to ensure their products are safe, lab tested and accessible to medical patients. More and more we are hearing horror stories about government run and mandated facilities, and in turn it becomes more obvious how important dispensaries like Leaf are. Having the opportunity to look at product and ask firsthand questions from knowledgeable business owners and staff makes for much superior and safer access to medical patients. Please do the right thing and grant Leaf a business license.
If it wasn't for Marijuana I wouldn't be able to function in normal daily life. I have severe anxiety and depression alongside my insomnia. The high quality products leaf compassion sells helps me attain a far better quality of life than I had before Leaf compassion helped me. I am now able to hold down a full time job and haven't been happier. Without Leaf and the other great dispensaries I wouldn't be able to succeed as I do today.

Lab tested cannabis is the only proper way to know what your consuming. It helps keep the growers regulated, and sharp between the ears as well. Let's regulate this plant to the best of our ability, and conduct more research on this miracle plant. Lab Tested cannabis should be available in a store front location in every community.
