Our goal as an ASL club and ASL students is to create a level 4 ASL class. Doing so would bring lots of benefits to MCTC as a class and a student body. Firstly, it would broaden possibilities in the schools foreign languages department because students would be given the possibility to complete 2 years of ASL. Second, more people would be interested in the school's ASL program and ASL club. Lastly, it would create a more welcoming and deaf inclusive environment at MCTC. Aside from these benefits it would also be a great investment for the school because of all the new students who would be drawn to the school for the newly improved ASL program alone.
