I have been reading the stories you all are leaving in the comments and it is clear that many of you know exactly what is at stake for our classrooms. I am currently working on putting together a package of these experiences to share with local officials because this momentum is entirely thanks to your willingness to speak up.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people have joined this effort to support our teachers. This momentum belongs entirely to you because I truly never imagined so many people would care about this issue.

The future of a nation is in its youth. You deprive the children and youth of a quality education, You ruin the country. It is that serious!
How can these kids learn in these oversize classes with limited teachers and support? Oh right they cant
The cost of having more teachers is far less that what is need for our students later in life lacking the tools and skills for success
More teachers are needed to help keep reduced class sizes and for more individualized instruction and attention!
We are already short staffed and to better HELP schools we need to add more teachers not take them away.
We need our teachers!

Teachers are critical to our future - they are teaching tomorrow's leaders and voters. Without the necessary support, they cannot do the job they want to.
