A Teacher’s salary in our country is something that is extremely lower than it should be. Teachers are shaping the future of America and should have enough to be able to ensure that we can give every child the best public education in the world. Those who are paid lowest are the ones who need the most help, teachers in Title I schools. Title I students are those that come from low income household, these student start school already behind their more well off peers. Although many of these students attend schools that are funded by Title I, there are still many things that teachers need and have to pay out of pocket for. By ensuring we are giving our teachers the best pay we are ensuring a brighter future for America. This petition will be sent to our congressmen in Nevada, and will hopefully lead to a national discussion on how we can increase teacher’s salary.
