This petition is to help the students of Agawam High School to have a new track built. Since 2006, Agawam Track&Field has not been able to host a meet because the track is not regulation size, nor is it the right material. The track has become so bad that some of the students have to be transported with their own rides to Suffield Academy, to practice for track&field events because our track facility is not in condition of practicing on. There has been talk about a whole new high school being built along with sports facilities as well, but this wont happen for at least another 10 years, much too long for the students to wait. We hope that with the support of all who see and sign this petition, that we can bring this issue to the attention of The Town Of Agawam and hopefully have this resolved.
