Hanson have been my favourite band for the past 21 years.
Their passion, determination & drive are partly why I keep coming back for more but it is also their desire to make positive changes in the world & to help others- they inspire me to be a better person.
In December 2013, during a Members Only Event, a fan asked whether the band would consider hosting a week long event in Europe (known as Back to the Island). Their response was no, but Taylor did say that if anyone could get 1,000 people to sign up to an event, they'd be there.
Cue the sound of trumpets, bells and whistles....
Gibraltar is a British overseas territory on the southern most tip of Spain. Although small, with a population of 30,000 over 2.6 square miles, our history is rich. They do say the best things come in small packages!
As we are located at the beginning of the Mediterranean, our winters are mild and summers warm (perfect for outdoor events!).
This makes Gibraltar a popular tourist destination with its proximity to the Costa Del Sol (Andalucia) and Morocco. Our most popular attraction are the Barbary Macaques (apes), which can be found at the top of the rock and can be visited by cable car.

For every person that signs the petition, I will donate $1 to Hanson's charity Take the Walk. I have decided that the best way to send the money would be in groups of $200, to the five causes that help South Africans living in poverty.

Remember it wouldn't be another BTTI! It would be a European event. I have ideas of how to make it cost effective but I need the signatures before I can even approach them.
I would love to be part of this event. I saw a video where Hanson said they want there music to change lives. this would be a fun and exciting way to raise their profile in Europe.
It was my friend who asked the question at Members Only Event!!!! This would be super amazing if this happened!
I think this is a great idea. fans will want to come from the uk, Europe and hopefully further afield.
Would it be cost effective? At the UK MOE Taylor and Zac said it was cheaper to host it in Jamaica

Well done for putting this together! Definately hold Taylor to his word!! And you know how Hanson like action rather than apathy!
