Objective: Campaign to bring Altiyan Childs back to do a concert in New Zealand!

Goal: To get as many petition signatures, Facebook 'likes', Twitter followers and support as possible in the hope that Altiyan will do a New Zealand concert. 

The world, and in particular New Zealand, was lucky to witness the journey of a true star when the amazingly talented Altiyan Childs recently won X Factor Australia. This is my campaign to get Altiyan to do a concert here in New Zealand in his upcoming 2011 tour with fellow X Factor contestants Luke and Joel. Here in New Zealand we absolutely adore Altiyan. He blew us away during X Factor and at Christmas in the Park he was the highlight of the show. At his promotional signing at Sylvia Park mall hundreds of Kiwis queued up to meet Altiyan - and this time I think we blew him away - proving just how many Kiwi fans Altiyan has, and all the more reason for him to do a proper gig here. Altiyan's album has peaked at number 3 on the New Zealand charts, and so far it has been certified platinum. That's 15,000+ albums sold, not bad for such a small country, and I have no doubt that Altiyan could fill up a venue with that amount of support for his album. His tour features 11 Australian dates and we are trying to get as much support as possible for adding a New Zealand concert to the tour in March. If anyone is in contact with Altiyan's manager please direct him to this page and encourage him to consider adding a New Zealand concert! Altiyan was recorded various times in interviews saying how much he loves NZ and how being here helped him “spiritually exhale” so let's bring him back for concert so we can show him how much we love him! Altiyan was even quoted saying that “New Zealand has embraced me even more than Australia” and that he wants to live here! And so it makes sense that he should add a NZ date to his line up. Luke and Joel have many Kiwi fans too and it would be great to see them over here supporting Altiyan. If you are an Altiyan Childs fan please support this effort, we want to see the man back over the ditch!
