I spent the entire morning digging through those official documents and the inconsistencies in their filing are just honestly baffling. It feels like they think nobody is paying attention to the fine print regarding TUPP but they clearly underestimated how much we actually care about this place.

I really never pictured things moving this fast when I first sat down to write this out. It feels like the neighborhood is finally waking up to what is happening at the park and honestly that gives me so much hope even though I know the fight is just beginning (and it is going to be a long one for sure). We have actual momentum now and it is exactly what we need to get Malanie the leverage she deserves.

Proper town planning demands areas for green relief for residents. Domestic workers use this area as a meeting place during their lunch hour. It’s a place to exercise our animals and stretch tired bodies on a running route. Please don’t destroy our small patch of green relief!
The Tugela Umfolsi People's Park is such a lovely place enjoyed by so many Adults & Children. Please think again before closing this Park, one's will destroyed the beautiful communication enjoyed by so many. The neighbours always make one so welcome. Thank you looking forward to more great chats there
These parks were given to the community for the community as green hubs and children's play areas, not as residential areas. the infrastructure cannot support more house utilizing more Water Electricity and Sewage
Let the children have the park to play in, let the adult have the park to relax in...it is maintained by the citizens of unfolozi and Tugela Street.
Parks are a necessary greening of our otherwise concrete environment. Parks are in general to service the people and children who live in confined spaces. Blocks of flats don’t forget about our helpers who meet with their friends and spend a lot of time in the parks if they are within comfortable walking distances. How many more cluster developments are needed and I am sure that is what this is all about
Maybe selling it, who knows in the new South Africa.

People purchased there homes in the area and the park was part of the decision to choose those houses. I say no to any development of this piece of land
