Final supporters
The HSSAA (Halton Secondary School Athletic Association) is trying to make a rule suggesting "rep hockey players[...] are ineligible for participation in HSSAA Hockey Activity Program as of the 2013-14 season". This could extinguish girl's high school hockey all together due to lacking numbers as it is and ruin Halton hockey. Please help us stop this. We just want to play hockey.

The momentum behind this is honestly overwhelming and it keeps me going when the days feel long. Seeing this level of support reminds me that we are right to fight this decision even when the path ahead looks difficult.

my daughter has worked way too hard to be told she cant play for her school. let the kids play hockey!
RIDICULOUS. if they follow through with this there wont be enough girls to even field a team. total joke.
halton needs to get its act together. school sports are about having fun and representing the school not about blocking kids.
this is so unfair to the girls who just want to play for their school team. stop ruining our sports season because of some silly rule.
why are they targetting hockey specifically? leave the rep players alone let them play for both teams

What about high school students who play rep basketball, soccer, baseball? Will they be banned as well? Doesn't seem just!
