Unbelievable. No communication and no warning. Sounds like they just wanted to get rid of it anyway.
My sister worked so hard for this team only to get kicked to the curb. Total disrespect to the players.
Ridiculous decision. Field hockey deserves better than this in Canada. Keep the program alive!!
This is completely unfair. University sports are about more than just numbers on a spreadsheet. Shame on the athletic department for blind siding these athletes.
So many memories on that field. You cant just erase 40 years of history because of some stupid budget cut. Fight this.

This will kill the sport for everyone in the west. Really short sighted move by the directors.
