The Institute of Education Finance and General Purposes Committee agreed increases of between 3.4% and 5% on the halls fees for the coming academic year. We the undersigned I.o.E. students would like to register our concern at this additional burden not least because there are no planned improvements to the services provided. We request that the I.o.E. Council review this decision as a matter of urgency.

Already struggling to pay rent as it is. Where is this extra money even going? Certainly not into fixing the broken showers or the heating.
