The Muslim community of Mitchells Plain and immediate surrounding areas herewith humbly request a certified Halaal Spur in Mitchells Plain. If Promenade branch cannot meet the requirements, please consider a branch in Westgate. This will serve in the interest of both Muslim and our Christian brothers and sisters religious compliant interests. The closest and only Halaal branch is in Vangate mall, outside of Mitchells Plain and a challenge to those without transport.

I honestly never thought this would gain this much steam but here we are and it is just wild to see so many people from the community feeling the exact same way about needing a local option. It really shows that when people talk about the struggle of getting to Vangate they aren't just complaining for fun because this is a real issue that impacts our daily lives and family outings.

Yes: why would I as a resident in Mitchell's Plain need to go to Claremont or Vangate Mall? With high the prices of petrol I would like to have one in my Area.
Good day Spur should be Halaal in order for many more people to enjoy the meals. By making Spur Halaal it will increase the customers due to the fact that it's Halaal and everyone can enjoy the meals and it's not limited to Muslims.

Please please do put a halaal Spur in Mitchell's Plain. Because its situated so far I eat it once a very very blue moon.

There are only a few halaal spurs in ctn & believe it or not, there are alot of Muslims in the Mitchells plain surroundings.
