Halal Food is lawful, obligatory and not to mention, downright delicious. Who said Halal food should be restricted to your local meat shop, or that Middle Eastern restaurant that you love so much. The worst part about being a college student, are those pesky all nighters studying for exams, and all you want at the end of the day is to savor a juicy mouth watering Halal Gyro. Or perhaps chill with your buddies during lunch hour at “Jannat-ul-Pizza” and enjoy the delicious taste of Halal Meat Pizza right out of the oven! Muslim Students Association at California State University of East Bay put this petition together and we ask for your support. We would like to have the privilege to serve Halal Food to our fellow students, Muslims or non-Muslims on campus. In order to do so, we ask for your demand in reaching our goal to show administration that having Halal Food at East Bay would not go to waste, but rather bring a new sense of pride Muslims feel when eating 'Zabiha'. We work with Mufti Abdullah Nana, of HFSAA - The Halal Food Standards Alliance of America to provide a credential to running Halal food restaurants, and make sure that your food is truly Zabiha.
