We the people of Columbus Catholic believe that it should be our right to chew gum during school. We believe that gum chewing has many benefical outcomes to it that is including, but not limited to, higher test scores, improved personal hygiene, and better oral health. We believe that gum chewing can lead to good outcomes for the school in a way that can benefit both the students and the school. It is our right to chew gum and handle it with responsibility. Therefore we request that you review our offer and look at it with much consideration. If we work together and compromise, we can come up with a solution that will benefit the well being of the students, faculty, and staff of Columbus Catholic High School.
