We, the undersigned, respectfully request that our school consider a new initiative that would allow students to choose their seating at lunch on Fridays, contingent on their good behavior throughout the week.

Proposal:
- On Fridays, students who have demonstrated good behavior—whether in the classroom, on the , or in other areas—will be given the opportunity to select their seat during lunch.
- This would create a fun, flexible environment where students can enjoy the last day of the week in a more relaxed and personalized way, while also rewarding positive conduct.
Reasons for this Proposal:
- Encourages Positive Behavior: By offering this incentive, students will be motivated to exhibit good behavior consistently, knowing there is a reward at the end of the week.
- Boosts School Spirit: Allowing students to sit where they want can promote camaraderie and teamwork as they interact with friends and peers they might not typically sit with.
- Promotes Responsibility: Students will learn the value of good behavior and understand the connection between their actions and rewards.
- Improves the Lunch Experience: Giving students a choice in their seating creates a more enjoyable and engaging atmosphere, fostering a positive school culture.

I want free seating because this is the only time I can sit with friends I enjoy talking to that I don’t have classes with
Allowing free seating during lunch would give students the opportunity to socialize with different people, fostering a more inclusive and diverse environment. It would also encourage students to form connections across grade levels and improve overall school spirit. Additionally, free seating could give students a sense of autonomy and responsibility, as they would be able to choose where and with whom they spend their lunch time.
we should have free seating because that’s really the only time we can talk to our friends and we mostly feel comfortable seating with our friends and so we can have people to talk at lunch and not be bored by ourselves
