We have signed our names below in support of Green Dot Public Schools. As members of the Seattle community, we are excited that Green Dot Public Schools brings us a 13-year track record of success for over 10,000 students in California.
We support Green Dot’s mission of preparing our students for success in college, leadership and life.
We are excited that Green Dot has a track record in closing the achievement gap; we want that to happen for the students of South Seattle.
Green Dot’s model of high care, high structure and high expectations, emphasis on proficiency in literacy and math and small school environment will help our students be college ready.
We – members of the Seattle community – ask you to support Green Dot Public Schools’ charter application for a 6th - 12th grade school. Thank you.

i keep thinking about those emails from california parents regarding their kids and how those stories really need to be heard by the commission people here in seattle. it feels like a marathon honestly and i spent most of last night just digging through old reports on student outcomes because if we are going to do this then we need all the facts lined up properly.

South Seattle needs this so bad. The current schools just arent cutting it for our kids.
Stop holding back our kids. Give us another choice for education.
High expectations is exactly what we need. Hope this gets approved soon.

My son is struggling in the big public school system and we need something different that focuses on college prep.

Finally some real options for families here. My nephew needs a smaller school setting to actually focus.
South Seattle needs this so bad. The current schools just arent cutting it for our kids.
