The petitioners propose to construct a 50,000 square foot state-of-the-art school facility, located on SE Stark Street at 192nd and funded entirely by private means with no tax burden to be imposed on the community. World class schooling in a brand new building, all provided by a highly qualified and tested administration seems far too positive a result to let slip away.
In addition to providing a life-changing alternative to those families who reside near the new facility, we believe that The Egan School, Rockwood has the potential to draw new students into the Reynolds School District and to bring back some students who have been transferring out of District to attend other schools.
We therefore urge the approval of the Egan School, Rockwood application and the negotiation of a mutually acceptable charter agreement.

Finally some private investment in our area. Why would they turn this down?
My kids need better than what the district is offering right now. Give us a real choice.
Rockwood needs more options. The school board better look at this seriously instead of just saying no.
It is not costing the taxpayers a dime so what is the problem exactly? Approve this already.
Bring the egan school to town!! tired of driving across town for a decent education.

YES. Stop losing students to other districts and keep them in Rockwood with something new and exciting.
