The Great Sky community would like to have a voice on the rules and guidelines of the amenities within the community. Currently, representation is either mis-represented, vacant or non-existent. It is our belief that a Great Sky Community Residents Board be formed to provide the appropriate feedback to the declarant on rules/guidelines within the community.

It is our recommendation and petition that each POD within Great Sky have a representative on this board to vote on matters as it pertains to the amenities rules and guidelines. This representative will be elected by each of the respective PODs. The following PODS will be represented:

  • Starlight Climb
  • Daybreak 1
  • Daybreak 2
  • Overlook Grand
  • Horizon Peaks
  • Thundering Hills
  • Southern Lights
  • Morning Mist

The Great Sky Community Residents Board will vote and work directly with the declarant board and the HOA management board to make suggestions/recommendations to the communities amenities rules and guidelines.

Take care of each other and our community!

I fully support this idea. It is essential we have a voice in our neighborhood.
    Thank you Lee

We agree as the current advisory board will not allow themselves to be identified and therefore are exempt from any input from residents. My husband Hugh Stephens picks up trash at the tennis courts and playground and has paid for the trash bags for the last two years. Both the advisory board and Homeside has ignored requests beginning Feb 2017 to pay for the trash bags. There is a void of any input for requests and we are completely ignored. It is sad when the advisory board, our own neighbors ignore a request to supply trash bags to a neighborhood volunteer.
