I have been hearing from so many of you who are absolutely crushed by the way the system just shuts us out. It is honestly exhausting to keep explaining why family ties actually matter because the state seems to think they know better than us but we are going to keep pushing until they listen.

I raised my Grandchildren for 19 months (one since he was 4 months old) and because of the lack of support from CPS and the stress that was caused, we lost them to a foster family! I want rights to see these babies that I have raised and that miss me terribly! I get one 45 minute visit a week SUPERVISED and I did NOTHING WRONG! This needs to change!
How tragic is it that your own children USE their kids as weapons or tools of manipulation against their own parents. Please do tell how you can love your kids and yet take away LOVE from them by taking away their grand parents because they won't bow down to you or be control by you. These people need to remember that these same kids you have taken grand parents from WILL REMEMBER this when they grow up and it will all come back around.

Grandparents have a great influence on children. I am restricted from seeing my Grandson because CPS told them I reported them when it was not me.
My grandson grow for 3 years with me I meant lots of to him. When CPS took him from my daughter he was crying and asking for me, wanted to go back home, my home where he grow first 3 years and i didn't get to see him. I was 2nd mom for him, at delivery i cut his cort, buy all daily needs for him,been with him for the time his mom worked and even more. I ask for 15 minutes weekly visit with him to comfort him and answer is NO WASHINGTON STATE DOES NOT ALLOW GRANDPARENTS. CPS should comforted children not get them stressful and traumatize more then what they are. What kid can understand at age 4 years, why I cannot visit him now. He may think, I abandoned him and getting him more depressed. It is not right, needs to be change for children. Get grandrands support and visit. To fell loved continue and not be forgotten, as they my think, at young age.
My daughter is withholding visitation with y granddaughter after raising her for 3 years.
Grandparents are an important part of a children's lives.

My son and daughter - in- law just moved to Washington state. I just want to be able to bring my grandchildren to Delaware and spend time with my family and them. I don't even get to speak to them on the phone. I was the one who asked them to give a grandchild but now I can't have any contact with them please help me
