This Is a petition directed towards the Nairobi City Council We the residents of Lavington are deeply troubled by the wanton grabbing of public land that has continued unabated and recently seen the closure of a public utility road, namely, convent drive linking us to other utilities within and around Lavington. Of particular concern is the impunity witnessed in one politician of the area digging up trenches on both sides of the road without consulting other residents. The inconvenience caused by this selfish and myopic behaviour has caused untold traffic on James Gichuru Road since all traffic has been caused to divert to this only other road linking the residents and other road users to Waiyaki Way and other locations within and around Lavington. We therefore hereby, as tax payers demand the immediate investigation and arrest of the politician involved and others concerned and the re-opening of this public utility without further delay.
