Citizens for the Government Street Pedestrian Mall believe the closing of vehicle traffic on Government Street (from Humbolt to Yates Streets) will bring a signficant and positive change to downtown core. We believe the pedestrian mall issues as they relate to our business community are resolveable and by working together with both our business community and the City of Victoria we can achieve our desire in further enhancing our downtown core to the benefit of everyone involved.
