Cop on, wearing a Santa Suit to work is even safer than wearing a Hi Vis don't ya think?? You hear of cyclists and pedestrians wearing Hi Vis gear getting knocked down and killed every day but when was the last time you heard of a man in a Santa Suit getting a slap of a car??? well??

Santa solidarity from one Tramore Santa to another! If I can travel around on my sleigh on the back of a coal truck for "Santa on Wheels" for three years running without incident, then I reckon you're safe enough wearing the suit in the comfy seat of the road sweeper! Which Grinch told you not to?

My 8 year old daughter had been told there was no Santa... Til she saw the Santa sweeper, his presence, friendliness, hi 5's all while doing the great job he does every other day of the year.... He brightened her day and gave her back her belief cos she felt like she was the only child in the world to get a wave from him.... Just saying.... Thankyou Santa sweeper Tramore

I live by the Glor na Mara school and see on a daily basis the reaction of the kids meeting ' Santa ' in sweeper.. spread the magic of the season bring him back,

So sad that red tape has to come into yet again.....the excitement and delight it brought to kids the other morning was just so heart warming to see....surely something can be done

What safety regulations could Santa be possibly making.....you can see him a mile off..I walk faster than the sweeper..the only crime committed is the person enforcing this and taking away the smiles from our children's faces

for the love of god even poor santa is not safe from health and safety... it brings a lot fun to tramore when u see him go by
