'Where did our local South City tradition of See's Candies decorations go?'
This past year local South City residents have noticed See's Candies change in holiday decorations and have expressed disappointment in the new versions and/or lack of continuing a holiday tradition much enjoyed by those in the area.
We respectfully seek, to encourage the powers that be at See's Candies, to please consider returning to the traditions that have brought joy to those who pass by their factory on El Camino Real in South San Francisco.
{Santa/Sleigh were nixed this year but the 'chocolate wreaths' on the side of the were met with much disdain by locals. It made many hoppy to see the Easter Bunny back up, yet nothing for Mother's Day}

Please bring back the traditional decorations. It's part of the holiday spirit and brought my family joy growing up. Now I have children of my own and they asked what happened?
There is a void at See's without the holiday decorations, what does it take to get the Santa/Sleigh up again, it brings so much joy to children and adults, and how disappointing it was when a week before Mother's Day, no sign on top the building. It also served as a reminder of the date of the Mother's Day, and help consumers remember that to shop for their favorite candy. What a killjoy.
Please keep tradition alive, For as long as I can remember and I'm 61 there has always been a holiday character/decor on top of She's Candy on El Camino in SSF You've taken a smile away, it's actually not trivial and is sadly missed
With all the changes happening in SSF it would be nice to keep a few traditions alive. Grew up waiting for the next decoration to be put on top of Sees.
The people that See's Candy has making these "new changes" obviously do not care about sentimental traditions or people. They also sorely lack designing skills. The Christmas wreaths that replaced Santa and his Reindeers were unattractive and an eyesore. Driving by the store you couldn't even tell what they were and at night they were dark and ugly.
We look forward to those holiday decorations every year it's very sad that you've changed.Thank you

We’ve lived in South City for 42 years. Just like “Santa’s Christmas tree” on the hill, our kids and now our grandkids really look forward to seeing Santa and other holiday decorations on top of See’s Candies. Please bring them back.
