The borough of Queens is set to receive a much needed increase in Parks Enforcement Patrol (PEP) officers in the summer months. It is the goal of the 104th Precinct Community Council to ensure an adequate amount of these additional PEP officers to serve the public parks within the command of the 104th Precinct. Public parkland must be considered a sacred resource and the safety of our residents in our local public parks must be prioritized.

Ridgewood parks have been getting trashed lately. We barely see anyone patrolling and it shows. Send these officers to the 104 already.

About time. Me and my kids wont even go to the park past 5pm anymore because it feels so unsafe. Fix this now.
