I have been staring at the bag in my pantry again while trying to figure out how they think this is acceptable without telling the rest of us. It is honestly so frustrating because I keep hearing from so many of you who have found the exact same thing yet we are all just supposed to stay quiet while they know exactly what is happening in those orchards.

One hundred signatures on this thing already which honestly blows my mind because I just started this out of pure frustration after that awful letter from the company. It makes me feel less crazy knowing so many of you are just as disgusted by the idea of hidden bugs in snack bags as I am.

I found two worms thus far. The second one had cottony material in the shell. I have pictures of both and it’s a brown worm that’s burrowed through the nut in both situations. It’s extremely unsettling thinking how easy it would be to eat one of these beasts.
I had a horrible experience today finding a maggot filled pistachio, which I chewed (thinking it was burnt) before spitting it out to find dead maggots. Absolutely disgusting. A warning would have been nice because then I would know to be more careful.
It's so revulting that the FDA doesn't require this label when there are so many bugs in pistachio's! I didn't used to pay attention, but upon further inspection you can tell from the outside if it has a bug. I had eaten them before!! This needs to happen
I have seen these worms in 2 separate bags of pistachios. Needless to say, I was so disgusted and my son was about to eat it too! I'd like for these people to eat their worm-infested nut and see if they like it and can say straight face that it's harmless
I also found a nasty bug in a bag of wonderful pistachios and once I called found out that there has been a recall for salemanella and our bag was one that should have been taken off the shelf and of course my wife my kids have all been eating them
I found so many in a small bag
Just bit into a nasty pistachio, wasn’t looking as I was eating them, and immediately knew something was off. Looked in the other half of the shell and there was a maggot. I spat out a mixture of black/brown substance.

I haven’t had a bag of Wonderful Pistachios that did not have worms. Company response that this is normal for pistachios is unacceptable. I’ve never had worms in any other brand. People have a right to know your pistachios are wormy. Put it on the label.
