Join us in urging the City to provide a SAFE crossing in front of Golden Ears Cheesecrafters on 128th Avenue. The City of Maple Ridge just finished constructing a large 4 lane road with NO pedestrian paths on the south side of the street. This forces many of our customers whom are families, cyclists, walkers and runners to unsafely attempt to run across 4 lanes of speeding traffic on this blind corner... OR travel on the road alongside the speeding traffic. THIS IS NOT SAFE!

Let's start a rumble! Sign the petition to for a SAFE CROSSING for traveler's on the south side of 128th Avenue that aren't in motor- vehicles.

We just hit 250 signatures and the City of Maple Ridge is still ignoring the death trap they built on 128th Avenue. They clearly do not care about the families and cyclists they are putting in danger every single day. Keep the pressure on them until they fix this disaster.

The City of Maple Ridge still thinks it is acceptable to leave families dodging speeding cars on a blind corner. I am tired of waiting for them to acknowledge the danger they created with their reckless road design.

The City of Maple Ridge thought they could ignore us while they built this death trap but our momentum is proving them wrong. This surge of support shows that people are finally fed up with the reckless decisions endangering our community. Keep the pressure on these bureaucrats until they tear up their dangerous plans and fix this road.

Traffic light controlled crossing. Traffic down this road is high volume and almost every one speeds. Having a crosswalk with lights would slow everyone down.

We need a safe crossing of 128th Avenue by Cheesecrafters. Please don't wait for someone to die before putting in a safety crossing. That happened on 232nd by 124th before stop lights were added!

I ride a bike. I have avoided this business due to road construction. (As well as disrespectful drivers.) I used to shop there quite often. I've just now found out the side walk has been built on the opposite side of the street, which will not allow for foot traffic. This is erroneous. Especially to a small business who has already suffered due to the road work.

Not everyone in our community travels by private vehicle. This place is a fantastic community addition, why make it accessible only to those who drive?

I drive this road 4x/day and cannot believe there is no safe access to Cheesecrafters for pedestrians and cyclists. Keep everyone safe and build a controlled crosswalk!

We enjoyed riding our bikes to Cheesecrafters for breakfast or lunch without having to cross the road. The bike path is on the wrong side of the road. Poor planning with little regard for businesses
