I spent the morning staring at the icy hills thinking about how ridiculous it is that we are still skipped over by the trucks while the main roads nearby are perfectly clear. It keeps me up at night wondering if anybody at the office even checks their email because my inbox remains empty despite all the messages I keep sending them.

I really thought this might just be a small thing I did for my neighbors but the momentum here is honestly overwhelming. It is wild to see so many people who actually care about these icy roads as much as I do while I keep checking my phone to see if anyone at the council is finally listening to us.

Village has been completely cut off through recent snow and icy roads have caused real difficulty in recent weeks. Gritters currently drive through route to access main roads but don't drop grit.
Life saving to be on the gritters route.... for vulnerable people with health issues....emergency services ,i.e. ambulance, fire, police, ect.
Roads really need gritting. In and around stithians.
Need access to Stithians to aid family.
Stithians should be gritted it's a very busy and we'll used route. ..
I think Stithians should be gritted when needed
Not too much to ask for a Parish of 2000 people.

People (including my daughter on her way home from a 12hr shift at Treliske) having to abandon their cars and walk 2 miles in the dark, alone - is unacceptable and the road should be treated. This happens every time we have snow!!
