I'm a taxi driver with regular customers in Tulltallen. The road through the village and out towards the N2 is a deathtrap in frost. No gritting at all.

Tullyallen is a skating rink when temperatures plummet and neglected by Louth Co Co at the risk of peoples safety and property. With a school on its main street the road should be gritted at least from the R168 to the cross roads past the school. Road tax, Property Tax etc is all paid by residents and something should be given back.

Please grit the Main Street Tullyallen, it’s badly needed with a school with 500 children, 200 in crèches , 13 businesses, children standing for school buses at corners going to Drogheda. These is 1.5k people in the village the least county council can do is grit the road, especially the junction with the Collon road thanks

Action needs to be taken right away before our kids are seriously injured trying to walk to school. Were all being encouraged to get active and leave the car at home - where is the incentive when the paths are so dangerous
