People (including my daughter on her way home from a 12hr shift at Treliske) having to abandon their cars and walk 2 miles in the dark, alone - is unacceptable and the road should be treated. This happens every time we have snow!!

Village has been completely cut off through recent snow and icy roads have caused real difficulty in recent weeks. Gritters currently drive through route to access main roads but don't drop grit.

Life saving to be on the gritters route.... for vulnerable people with health issues....emergency services ,i.e. ambulance, fire, police, ect.

2000 people trapped in the village as road out was not gritted. It’s only 2 miles to the gritted road. Not acceptable.

Have got stuck there every time we have snow or lot of ice- treacherous!!

We need the roads as we are in the middle of the country it took all day to get back home and the roads are very dangerous in the snow and ice where there is single track some of the way with people driving too fast in the ice and snow

stithians is a lovely village but can be dangerous in the bad weather due to all the hills

Such a lovely place to live and should be included in the gritting route. It's a place where a lot of people live who work outside the village. Every year this happens and could so easily be prevented
