Whoever feels guitarist Leslie West (dubbed by fans "The King of Tone", best known for his axe work on Mississippi Queen, Theme From An Imaginary Western, Nantucket Sleighride, plus 50 years of great Blues and Rock & Roll music, and owner of one of the most influential guitar tones and vibratos in rock history) deserves to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame... and a replica of his trademark Sunburst Les Paul Jr displayed in the guitar yard outside the Hall.......... please sign this petition!
Whoever feels Felix Pappalardi, prolific songwriter, vocalist, bassist and producer (Leslie West, Mountain, Cream, Creation, Kicks and dozens of others!), the man Mic Jagger called the "Smartest Man in Rock and Roll", deserves to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame............. please sign this petition!
Whoever feels Corky Laing, one of the hardest hitting pioneer drummers of the modern day hard rock and heavy metal sound, with precise jazz timing, his trademark cowbell, and the charisma and showmanship that completes the legend of a rock and roll drummer of his era, deserves to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame............. please sign this petition!

Leslie in my book is one of the most melodic guitarists of all time. He plays what he sings in his head. Felix was a very intense producer and musician. He was uncompromising and gave Mountain the sound that became their trademark and influenced many bands since.
Leslie West was (and still is ) an enormous influence on musicians who have already been inducted into the HOF. It makes perfect sense for him to be there as well. He paved the way, and help set the foundation for great Blues/Rock.
first, saw leslie play at the cameo bowling alley in forest hills with the vagrants when I was 14. Loved the vagrants, loved Mountain and West ,Bruce and laing. Over the last few years my kids have seen leslie, twice, Time for the HOF.
Mountain, and Leslie West and Felix Pappalardi separately, should be in the HOF. Leslie West inspired many of us with his powerful style, and Felix not only wrote and played with Mountain, but produced records for Cream, among others.
I saw mountain live at Atlanta and goose lake, Leslie west is still with me. In the 60s I like mountain so much I helped support Buck Moon because they played mountain song's West gave us what we wanted, now give him what he deserves. David Leach

Mountain had great songs with elements of both light and shade. Accomplished vocals from Felix and Leslie. The band had superb dynamics, unmatched by any band. Leslie West's guitar tone along with Felix's ground breaking bass sound were unrivaled.
