my little niece who is 4 and has cerbal palsy had her medical card taken off her with no warning please sign and help her to get it back!!

What is going on in this country when a mum has to resort to social media to get a bloody medical card for her little girl ,as I'm sure her mum has more than enough to do daily for her little one
Disgraceful carry on. I had to write an open letter to Minister Varadkar last November when they took away my son's medical card. He has a life-long incurable heart defect and they still took it away. Within days of a sustained FB campaign, it was reinstated with a full apology.
Absolutely outrageously unfair behaviour once again from the HSE, shame on you that things have to come to this in order for children with special needs to get the help they so rightly deserve and more importantly need. Give Beth her card back, take something from the FAT CATS for a change.
Beth is a fantastic,beautiful child who was born just that little bit different. Because of that difference she needs a little bit more help than others. Her medical card would be a major help to her life,and a make things that little easier for her parents. Please give back her medical card.
I no this little girl her parents and family they work hard to provide beth with wat she needs and by taking her medical card away u are striping this young girl of her right for support and the help she needs fir her daily life
She needs care -give her medical coverage back!
It won't hurt the government to give the little angel her card and chance to a better life back

Every Child that receives Domicillary Care Allowance should automatically be entitled to a medical card this already proves the child needs care above and beyond an average child. Good luck fighting for your baby we are all behind you
