She has put my kids in the worst circumstance ever and was friends with my baby mother and friends with their pastor witch means she shouldn't heard the case.
Children deserve to be protected by adults and when their primary caregivers cannot do that- it is up to our justice system to intervene. Few things are less professional than what has been described as actions of this judge. If you don't have the energy or passion to do your job- let someone else do it. There are lives at stake. Every life matters.
She laughed at my son's Ex's testimony, shaking her head repeatedly and then slept through most of my son's side. And then reversed previous custody order after 4 1/2 years, and gave controlling custody to the Mom. And more days with her. Previously it was 55-45 controlling now reversed to 35-60.
Judge Rawls has an amazing history of child endangerment. I have seen two judgements affecting my grandson that have put him in untenable circumstances - unsupervised time with a violent father. This judge has got to go for the safety of our children.
Just had this same sort of experience with her yesterday. Unbelievable what decision she made. My child's father has paid zero child support, has a history of violence against me before, during and after pregnancy of my son, history of alcohol and substance abuse and showed no proof of any change at our hearing. Yet, she granted him substantially more UNSUPERVISED visitation rights.
She’s a disgrace to the North Carolina Justice System. She should be immediately removed.
This judge fell asleep several times during our hearing and used her political affiliation as bias in my case.

After eating her Twinkie, she fell asleep and slept through the remainder of my custody hearing case in 2018 and three years later, congratulated my daughters dad on the stand who was just charged with child abandonment simply because he has a full time job..... HORRIBLE. AND I MEAN HORRIBLE judge.
