She’s a disgrace to the North Carolina Justice System. She should be immediately removed.

This judge fell asleep several times during our hearing and used her political affiliation as bias in my case.

She gave primary custody to my children's mother, and she is going to move them to another state, away from their entire family, including their father.

Very racial

This judge literally called my girlfriend's child's father a stand up dad that's trying when he was charged with abandonment and hasn't responded to a single form of contact in almost a year to his 5 year old daughter, as a result of her not listening to actual details of the case. This guy is 34 years old and disappeared, and Rawls praised him. She literally doesn't hear words being spoken on the stand. Even when she's awake, her brain is asleep.

After eating her Twinkie, she fell asleep and slept through the remainder of my custody hearing case in 2018 and three years later, congratulated my daughters dad on the stand who was just charged with child abandonment simply because he has a full time job..... HORRIBLE. AND I MEAN HORRIBLE judge.

This Judge fell asleep during my granddaughters case and then sat on bench and was eating cake, like she was at a picnic. She is a awful JUDGE,.This happened in 2013

Horrible judge. She was always one sided and never paid attention to the validity of my case. Unless she has changed her ways she remains an unfair judge.

Unfortunately, all of the comments written are correct. I witnessed her sleep through my husbands visitation case. She suddenly woke up while it was his turn to testify allowing the opposing lawyer to call him names. Between the judge and opposing attorney, he was not allowed to get a word in edgewise. Then the verdict came and, o boy, she definitely leans toward the mother....no matter how bad of a mother she is and what actions she does....in her mind the mother is always right. The mother moved away and he has primary custody, most judges would see that as lack of intrest on her part, not this judge, she got rewarded. Nonetheless, he still is a winner she couldn't reverse the fact that he has primary custody. I'm sure if she could have she would have though. She needs to be off the bench. She runs a circus show. I would love to know if the judge and opposing attorney where paid a extra on the side. Justice was not served!

She has put my kids in the worst circumstance ever and was friends with my baby mother and friends with their pastor witch means she shouldn't heard the case.

My son and I also have experience the deputy sleeping the judge on the cell phone making plans. How can you trust someone to make the right choices if they are not bias. The judge is also a Apostle outside of court where she came in contact with my grandchildren mother from an previous event. s I shared my concern about bedbugs and the children transporting the bugs. We were told because the children had no visible bites on them the mother had taken care of the situation. Not true the mother had taken the children to a cousin house because her electricity was off. None of my sons concern was even acknowledged. The children talked to the judge and deputy, I've been in custody court before and never have I seen an deputy involved. I feel the judge needs to accuse herself. My grandson has been given an IEP at school and his father was not notified about the meeting, only notified of the decision the school and mother made. The children are our future we need someone who will look at both sides of a case.

The worst family law judge ever. Corrupt, only listens to a mother's side no matter how awful she may be.

I had a custody case with this judge my ex committed adultry kicked me out my house took all my tools etc. used my son as a way to hurt me. The judge let my ex talk for 2 hours never herd my side or listed to me. I have never broke a law or had the cops called on me for anything domestic. My ex had DSS called against her for drug abuse and abuse toward my son for it to turn against me and DSS investigated my house. I get every other weekend and was told I was not allowed to worry about my son education by the judge. Addie Rawls has given my ex the power to constantly harass me and wife. My ex follows everything I do or my wife my ex has hurt my son emotionally and psychological do to the judges dession me and my wife have been slander and reputation destroyed due to the power judge Rawls gave my ex. My case has turned my life into a nightmare from hell.

She fell asleep during my friend’s case and granted a domestically violent man visitation. In addition with my husband’s case we had solid evidence of the child’s mom’s abuse including videos and recordings of such. She granted for our child’s mother’s drug counselor to also be the child’s trauma counselor based on lies. The child is now 11 and still with his abusive mother who fails to provide basic care for him and begs to live with us.

My custody was done by Rawls, not only she fell asleep but when I had brought to her attention my lawyer had me sign the memorandum under false pretenses, that this was what the judge had decided and that there was nothing I could do, in reality it was a settlement between attorneys. I voiced this to her and instead of stating let's look into this she dismissed my contempt case against my ex, and sent me on my way with oh well I was given you both kids and you settled. I replayed your honor I just found out from you it was a settlement I never authorized a settlement I was told you had decided this your honor, she didn't care just sent me on my way.

She slept through my nephews case and definitely did not do him justice

during Grandson hearing she sleep she needs another job one that can not hurt children's lives

No judge can decide anything when she sleeps through testimony! No one can sleep on the job and still have a job especially a Judge!
