Teachers at CNS have voted against having AA in the schedule for the 2019-2020 school year, but we the students want AA again, so we’ve created this petition to try and get it back.
We just hit one hundred signatures. Post this link on your Facebook page and text three friends about why we need AA back at school. Let's keep this momentum going until the administration pays attention.

The momentum behind this petition is proving that the administration cannot ignore what the student body wants. Post this link on your Facebook page right now and email our principal to let them know we expect AA on the schedule.

We are gaining momentum but we need to hit the 500 signature mark to force a conversation with the administration. Text three students right now and tell them to sign if you want AA back in our schedule.

This does not give me hope for when my son attends CNS. With his adhd he will definitely need the extra help, and with his extra-curricular activities having the time to complete work in school will be valuable and practical. Please consider reinstating AA.

AA is extremely helpful in getting things done! Especially when you can’t stay after school all the time to make things up, because some of us, like myself, have little siblings or neighbors to look after, after school. Other may have jobs and can’t always stay after so AA is helpful to get things done!

My son will be a sophomore next year. We just agreed to remove his IEP and move to 504 plan because we were told he would have the AA time to help him. This was 2 weeks ago. Now you have made a liar of your personnel and put my son at risk educationally. Unexceptable!

AA was a vital time for me, especially during sports. For us kids in a lot of clubs and activities- that was when we were able to see teachers and get help. Extremely beneficial. A shame that it’s being taken away, even though about 90% of the CNS students have given positive feedback about it.

AA has been very helpful to my child. There are many instances where staying after school is just not an option, but 20 minutes during AA makes a world of difference. Please do not cancel this amazing time that is a great help to our students.

AA was a wonderful time for me to meet with teachers to get extra help and retake things that I otherwise just would not have had time to do. It’s also a really nice time to take a breath and relax if my morning was particularly stressful or hard.
