I honestly think that Nursing is a profession you grow best in when you are around people you are familiar with. Having a fixed tutorial group has contributed largely to the positive experiences that our seniors have had here in ALCNS. I believe that it will benefit us as it has our seniors. As most of us have built a strong camaraderie with our respective tutorial group mates, i think that we will be more comfortable practicing and learning in them. I also believe that as a cohort, we have numerous chances to bond through community service initiatives and inter-faculty projects. Disrupting the current tutorial groups will also disrupt the house system and junior-senior house support systems we have been trying to build with our seniors the past semester.

I will feel more comfortable practicing my practical on someone I'm familiar with

I believe that ALCNS is an institution which is open to opinions from the floor. Therefore, I hope that ALCNS will reconsider its decision on changing the grouping every semester. As opposed to having to adapt to a new environment every semester, a standard grouping would definitely reduce much effort required to interact and bond with new friends. Instead, stronger bonds and friendships can be forged. I believe that many of us would prefer to attend lessons with friends who we are close to. Alternatively, it would be better if ALCNS can standardize our timetable weekly so that it would make our job easier when it comes to bidding for cor modules. I hope ALCNS will look into this matter and take into consideration our constructive feedbacks.

We signed up for programmes like LPE and code blue with our classmates last semester, so rearranging us may cause more inconvenience if our schedules clash. I also wish we could just enjoy studying these last few years together in university with our classmates that we have gotten so close to before we go out to work and possibly never have the chance to do so again.

I would want to put more attention on my studies instead of constantly forming new bonds. Afterall with the many interprofessional projects and pairings of the attachements, i believe there will be many chances to interact with others from different groups.

It would be very tiring for us to have to build new relationships again every semester when the effort could be used for us to study and get better grades. Also many of us have been feeling depressed and even dreading the start of the new school term because we are afraid of how our new class would turn out. It would also need time for us to get used to our class and we have barely gotten used to our previous class. For some of us our current classmates are what gives us strength and confidence to deal with the heavy workload of the upcoming semester cause we know we will be next to each other supporting one another. Please reconsider and keep our classes the way it is until we graduate thankyou

It is really important to make nursing friends who would be there for you for the rest of your nursing career.
