The council just confirmed they are moving forward with the George Harrison statue in the heart of our town. This win belongs to every one of you who kept the pressure on until they finally agreed. Keep an eye on the local government website for announcements regarding the unveiling ceremony.
Please sign the petition to have a long-overdue statue of Beatles legend George Harrison erected in Henley-on-Thames.
George was a longstanding resident of Henley and did so much for the town that a new landmark in Henley would best recognise his work
The local council is starting to take notice because of the sheer volume of names on this list. Call your local representative today to insist they put this project on the next meeting agenda.

He was a hero in so many ways.
There was this evil guy broke into his henley -home, and was released after only 19 months from the murder attempt... The town owns something to George.

I wholly endorse this petition, George appeared such a great guy. Last year I did a drawing of George and sent off to Patti Boyd who wrote back thanking me for the drawing, which was so nice of her.

George loved Henley so much, it only makes sense he should have a statue watching over the town. Such a legend.
