THE MAN IS A LEGEND. Get it done council.
My kids grew up watching his shows about the chimneys. He deserves a proper spot in town for everyone to see.
Fred would be spinning in his grave if he saw how much fuss they are making about a statue. Just put it up already.
Needs to be by the steam engine. That was the whole point of the memorial. Dont let the council ruin it.
Fred is a bolton icon through and through. Put him where he belongs in the center not tucked away in some corner where nobody sees him.

Ridiculous that they wont put it in oxford street. He did more for the town than any politician ever has!
