Please sign this petition to show if you would support a gate code. The code would only be provided to homeowners (and they could rotate or expire). These codes may alleviate problems in instances where you get an unexpected house guests, phones die or you lose your phone, and if you simply want to go for a run without your phone. These codes can especially be helpful for folks that have car pool situations or when you need folks to come to your house for services (cleaners, dog walkers, etc.).

Make sure to enter your full name, and please include your address in the comments.

The momentum behind this gate code proposal shows just how many neighbors want this flexibility in our daily routines. Post a link to this petition on the Longleaf community Facebook page and email your board representative today to keep this energy moving.

iPhone 6 Users FYI- The gate does not recognize your phone because the 'tones' are deactivated. To activiate: 1) Attain a wifi connection 2) Go to phone dial pad and enter: ##CLEAR# (or ##25327#) 3) Press Call 4) When 'Resetting Subscriber' prompt appears, press select 5) Phone will reset so that the gate will then receive the 'tone' when you press '9' This worked for my phone iPhone 6 as of 11/7/15. I would prefer that we not use a gate code should the directions above work for everyone else. Then problem solved. Good luck.

4769 Longcourt Drive: I thought it was just me! I also have an iPhone 6, so does everyone in my household so none of us can let anyone in the gate. I find it unacceptable that the vendor does not have a solution to this problem.

4737 Loncourt I support the addition of a rotating entry code. I would prefer that the code change either every quarter (4 times a year) or every 6 months (2 times a year).

Rotate codes every ###days? Hard to imagine a more unworkable and undesirable solution! Six or twelve months is highly preferable!!!

Expecting to be available or have my phone on the ready at all times is unrealistic. Gate codes work beautifully in other communities (Ivy Walk, also managed by Heritage).

I just know that gate codes will make things much easier. I work in an operating room setting. I can't answer my phone all of the time, and there are times when somebody will need to get into the neighborhood and my house for pet care, maintenance, etc. There was a form sent out to get phone numbers for the gate. Maybe there should be a place on that same form for picking a gate code? Or just randomly generate a code for every unit and tell us what it is.
