We, the undersigned, request to Aberdeen City Council Leader Kate Dean that the Liberal Democrat - SNP administration does not implement its proposals to claw back £2m of funding from the city\'s schools, representing £20,000 from every primary school and £100,000 from every secondary school. In addition, we request that the council fully allocate the £1.947m it was awarded by the Scottish Executive in November 2006 to be spent on the city\'s schools, as this funding was intended for.
The budget cuts remain on the table despite our opposition. I am currently reaching out to council members to demand that the Scottish Executive funding is actually released to our schools.

The council has the money right there. Just give it to the schools like they promised. Stop playing games with our children.

The council backed down and the funding is secure. We won because we refused to accept these cuts. Keep watching to ensure they keep their word.
